The past two weeks have been actually mentally draining. I have had family issues and it caused me to take mental health days for myself, at work, and at school. Although, I made a little mood board, and started my wire-framing.
Mood Board
I stuck with the original colors of the SmartThings application. The colors were white, light cream, and different blue values. I plan to incorporate more black into the design (night mode, etc.). I also was thinking of adding some other blue tones, but we'll see how it looks when I get there in my prototyping because I don't want to take away from the part I am re-designing. I also plan to keep the same font as it is readable and a regularly used font.
Wireframes
I did not get as far in my wireframes as I would have liked to. However, life issues got in the way of that. Here are my in-progress wireframes.
Planning Ahead
As I stated above, I have not gotten as far in the wire-framing as I would have liked to. I plan to catch up these next two weeks and should be back on track. I am on track with everything anyway, I just wanted to get the wireframes finished or almost finished. However, I will be finishing them up by the middle of this week.
My next production report will include my finished wire framing and the start of my prototyping.
